The Her Universe Fashion Show is an exhilarating competitive exhibition that celebrates the creativity and innovation of geek couture, featuring the works of two dozen talented designers. I had the privilege of being a finalist with my entry inspired by Disney's Encanto, specifically focused on the character Bruno. My design embraced a 2022 Fall/Winter trend in menswear, drawing on contemporary styles while capturing the essence of Bruno's unique character. This fusion of pop culture and fashion not only highlights the imaginative storytelling of Encanto but also showcases how modern menswear trends can reinvent beloved characters in new and exciting ways. Through meticulous attention to detail and a passionate understanding of both fashion and fandom, my creation stood out among the remarkable talents at the show, reaffirming the powerful connection between storytelling and style.
