The Her Universe Fashion Show is an exhilarating celebration of creativity and innovation within the realm of geek couture, showcasing the extraordinary designs of twenty-four talented creators. I was truly honored to be a finalist with my entry inspired by DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon. Drawing from the brilliant work of animators who tackled the challenge of animating an all-black dragon, I utilized their techniques of light, texture, and mixed media to craft a lifelike Viking dragon that aligns with today’s trends. A standout feature of my design is the reimagined dragon wings, designed as a removable piece that adds a dynamic element all on its own.
